Privacy Policy

Information you give us: name, company name, billing address, shipping address, email address, telephone number, the product or service selected, payment amount and any notes or references you enter on our payment page or send us by email.

Software project information: for software clients, the business details, requirements, documents and — where you grant it — access to systems or data needed to carry out the agreed work. Client data accessed during a project is treated as confidential, used only to deliver that project, and removed from our working environments when the engagement ends.

Payment information: card details are entered directly on Square's hosted checkout. We never receive, see or store your full card number, CVV or expiry date. We store only the transaction identifiers, amount, currency and payment status returned to us by Square.

Technical information: standard server logs such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, used for security and reliability.

• To scope, deliver, support and maintain software work you have engaged us for.
• To communicate with you about your order, project, delivery or transaction.
• To meet our accounting, tax and other legal obligations.
• To detect, prevent and investigate fraud or misuse.

We process your information to perform our contract with you, to comply with legal obligations (such as retaining financial records), and for our legitimate interests in running and securing our business. Where required, we rely on your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate, including Square (payment processing), our cloud hosting and database provider, and our email provider. These providers act on our instructions and are bound by their own confidentiality and security obligations. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our legal rights.

Invoice and transaction records are retained for at least seven years to satisfy accounting and tax requirements. Other correspondence is kept only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected.

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored in access-controlled systems. Our invoice archive is protected and restricted to authorised personnel. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data.

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, object to certain processing, or request a copy in a portable format. Contact us at ann@signaevent.com and we will respond within a reasonable period. Note that we may need to retain financial records even after a deletion request.

Our website uses only the cookies and local storage necessary to operate the site and complete payments. We do not use advertising cookies.

Our services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
